I had my first half day of the internship today, and my boss loved my work from this week. I've moved onto some more tasks that are secret, hence Secret Cinema. Wish I could tell you more, but I can tell you I'm having a great experience so far.
Bridget and I met up in Covent Garden to do a little shopping. We hit up my favorite store... can you guess?? (lol check the title).
For lunch, we had some pad thai noodles at Rosa's Thai Cafe. Enjoy the photo of my food...
Julia then met up with us, and we stopped for some Ben's Cookies!!!! We've walked by this place every single day on the way to the tube, and today we finally got some. I know I've said this about everything I've eaten in London, but it was sooo yummy. If you know me, I love cookies. Ben and I should be friends.
The end of the night was incredibly fun. Earlier in the day, my coworkers invited me to their celebration "after party" for their finished show of 28 Days Later. It was at a club called Through the Looking Glass, and I had to come with a hat and a riddle. Yes, it was Alice in Wonderland theme. Duh, it was amazing. I was really nervous at first because this was my third day on the job, and I hadn't really gotten to know everyone yet. It all worked out, though, because the night was amazing, and I met so many people from the company. It felt a lot like my theater family back at home, and I felt homesick for a bit ; ) I'm really thankful that I get to work with this company, and I hope to get closer with my coworkers. My coworkers also introduced me to so many more British candy tonight, and it was unbelievable.
I love London.
I want more cookies.
